Mantra begins operating in Discovery mode as soon as the appliance is connected to the network. During Discovery, Mantra automatically scans traffic and discovers databases, file shares, and the activity taking place on these systems. In just hours, Mantra has collected an inventory of databases, users, and their activity presented in summary graphs. These graphs are “active” and can be clicked on to automatically generate monitoring policies without writing a single rule manually.
Fast Policy Creation
Mantra’s English-like policy language simplifies policy creation. Mantra policies are so “smart” that you can accomplish more with one policy than you can with ten policies using other products. There are no DBA or development skills required. You can use the Mantra’s “drag and drop” capabilities to automatically generate policies. Or you can write your own policies with as much detail as needed.
Mantra also comes with built-in Compliance Policy Templates that make it easy to meet the auditing requirements of standards and regulations like SOX, PCI, state privacy regulations, and others.
